Super Bowl Played on Draincore2

February 3rd saw the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The turf system at the stadium has Draincore2 as the drainage layer.

The cross-section of the turf consists of 12 inches of a sand/ fiber mixture, geotextile fabric, and Draincore2. The special section is also placed on a removable tray system that can be wheeled in and out of the stadium.
