Summary: The reasons Texas A&M chose the Driancore2 system over conventional sand based field systems were the many benefits they saw in test plots at Oklahoma State University: a ten year warranty; lower cost of installation; 300 percent greater root mass, better water retention and superior drainage. The Draincore2 system was designed to out perform all of its competitors in every single facet of performance. In the Texas A&M University installation, the Draincore2 system has met or exceeded all of the Athletic Department’s expectations.

A perimeter piping system is set up around the field. The Draincore2 sports field system consists of an efficient use of pipe to reduce overall costs.

Industry professionals, from around the world, came to witness the first full-scale Draincore2 installation. Sports turf professionals, drainage contractors, athletic departments, and professional sports teams receive instruction from Geoturf’s Stan Schone.
Eleven inches of sand goes on top of the fabric.
Draincore2, patented by Invisible Structures, Inc., is supplied in rolls for the easiest drainage layer installation on the market.
