Project Profile:
Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial
Project Summary
Grasspave2 will prevent the markers from sinking over time. The compressive strength of Grasspave2 disperses the load and the rolls help reduce soil loss, erosion, and lateral forces from affecting the markers. This preventative maintenance will help the Department of Veterans Affairs reduce costs. The markers will be stabilized and remain level and protected for many years. Working with our supplier Guy Charblois at Villa Landscape Products, Pace Contracting had five months of installation for the cemetery markers. Pace would carefully catalog the markers, extract the markers, re-level the area, place the Grasspave2 (at 50cm / 1.6 ft wide rolls), fill with sand, place the markers back on, and then apply the sod.
