A backhoe dumps sand for workers to spread inside the Grasspave2 system.

Concrete curbs separate the Grasspave2 from the surrounding grasses and pavement.

The Grasspave2 parking lot is a distinct area from the rest of the park's parking areas.

Grasspave2 will not suffocate the tree roots in the tree islands. Grasspave2 provides drainage, oxygen and CO2 transference for healthy trees.

The photos demonstrates most of the the components of a Grasspave2 system: Base course, Hydrogrow, the Grasspave2 units, and the sand fill. What's missing? Just seed or sod.

Workers have cut the Grasspave2 structure to fit around the curbing.
