Project Profile:
Health Source Saginaw
Project Summary
This is an old installation from 1987, only five years after we started the company. It’s nice to find old friends and old Grassrings. It would make sense to continue the lane, following the sidewalk to the other parking lot on the south end, but couldn’t confirm that the lane goes this far. Found the polyester leno weave white netting we used in 1987, and one 3” white ring, just barely showing. On the north end is a cut curb on either side of the sidewalk and the light poles are set back to the width of the lane.

Front of building and signage. Fire lane starts downhill to the left and comes behind the sign in front of this building.

Over the years the grass has grown onto the pavement where the curb is cut. This is the main drive to the parking lot behind the camera.

The light poles mark the edge of the lane as does a slight rise at the outside edges.

View of fire lane.

View looking toward the south parking lot and it appears that the product may be here also, but checking the original construction documents would be necessary. Better markers of the fire lane would be a good idea.

Another view in front of the building showing the Grasspave2.

The reinforced emergency access path continues toward the camera along the front sidewalk.
