Project Profile:

Oregon Lottery

Project Summary

The sun angle was low and gave the grass a nice rich appearance. However, this grass is showing signs of being starved after five years of little to no NPK with micronutrients fertilizer. In order to get a good structure that drains well, Grasspave2 is installed over a sandy gravel roadbase. To eliminate the need for aeration and to provide structural support to the cross-section, sand is used to fill the rings. This is a very sterile way to grow grass, so applying an NPK (regular) fertilizer with micronutrients is necessary at least once per year. It’s like giving vitamins to the grass. Humate is a natural combination of micronutrients that is contained in our Hydrogrow. Humate is available from us at a low cost. Growpower is a brand of fertilizer that already contains micronutrients. Be sure not to buy a fertilizer with clay for use in areas subjected to vehicular or pedestrian traffic.
