Utilizing land for both a road and a detention basin underground makes this Rainstore3 application very valuable. Keeping the stormwater shed from the parking lot on site so that the rainfall can filter down into the natural aquifer is less expensive in the long run by eliminating elaborate storage systems and water treatment by handling point source pollution on site.
