Front of the post office shows the two foot wide gravel reinforced beds on both sides of the entrance door.

Gravel beds surround the building, underneath the eaves to catch snow dropping or rain dripping off the sloped roof.

Two foot wide gravel bed extends the length of the building on both sides to catch roof runoff from rain or snow. There are no gutters attached to the building roof line.

Close up look at the size of gravel used. Near the vegetation a couple of 2” gray rings of Gravelpave2 are visible. This is the secret to keeping the gravel in place when rain or snow fall drop onto the reinforced area.
