Project Profile:
Taco Bell
Project Summary
This installation of Gravelpave2 was used as a drainage area for stormwater runoff. You will note that the parking lot is sloped in the direction of this strip of porous paving. One note is that the right amount of stone should be placed into the GV2 mats, and not to spread the extra over the site anyway. This is not a case of more is better because then the stone on top of the rings will migrate.

This is the photo that we used for our Gravelpave2 brochure showing the porous parking area at the back of the site.

A close up of the stone shows that too much was laid on top of the rings in GV2.

Looking back toward the Taco Bell restaurant that was under construction when these photos were taken in May 1999. You will note how the asphalt area is sloped toward the porous GV2 parking bays.
