Project Profile:

TyL Ranch

Project Summary

This is truck access to the barn for hay delivery. Drivers are instructed to back up straight to the steps and sliding door, then to drive out straight without turning large wheels in place. This prevents grass damage caused by twisting tires in place. After a year, the installations are very nice as seen in the photographs. Another installation of Grasspave2 behind the main house for golf cart type vehicles to drive up to an amphitheater will allow entertainers to move equipment in and out over the grass.

Turf Pavers were installed for barn and paddock access using Grasspave2.
Grasspave2 grass driveway in front of sliding door near stairs to barn is used to unload hay.
Permeable grass pavers were installed for barn and paddock access using Grasspave2.
Horses trod over this area when being tied up to the hitching post. Horseshoes do not get caught in the Grasspave2 because the rings are below the crown of the grass and have been structurally filled with sand.
Pervious Pavers were installed for barn and paddock access using Grasspave2.
View of paddock entry which is used by both horses and servicing vehicles. Note dark tracks in grass from vehicle which bent the grass down just prior to this photograph. There will be no long term damage by driving over the grass.
