Entrance sign marking the boulevard entrance up to the Kane County Judicial Center.

Fire lane begins off the loading dock on this end of the building near the white fire hydrant and the shrubs in the foreground. Notice the bollards marking the edges of the fire lane.

Lighted bollards are used to indicate the edge of the fire lane. It’s important to have vertical delineation in Illinois because of the snow depths and guides necessary for plowing.

Backing up further to show you the Parking Lot C2 on the left, waste disposal area in the middle of this side of the building with the Grasspave2 fire lane going around the right end just past the light pole.

Tree in last photo is shown in the far distance near the lake. This is the last segment of the fire lane which ends up near the water disposal area on the left just off Parking Lot C2.

Looking back toward the beginning of the fire lane which curves around the sculpture. A Fire hydrant and white bollard can be see on the right edge just beyond the tree. Grass needs irrigation and nutrients.
