Project Profile:

Sarducci’s Restaurant

Project Summary

Larry Ryan, designer, has used our Grasspave2 on several jobs and this is the first time he used Gravelpave2. He briefed us saying that he reserved a pile of gravel stone fill in the back corner for redressing the rings from time to time. Small stones stick to the tires and rotate back onto the asphalt. Overall he is quite happy with the installation. As you can see in the photos the stone displacement is minimal.

Project Gallery

Back side of the restaurant has an asphalt center aisle with Gravelpave2 on either side behind concrete flush curbs.
Walkway across the parking lot to the front door behind the camera is done in tile. GV2 is shown in the parking bays which function as the drainage inlet for rain water.
Larry Ryan designed a nice concrete edge treatment which frames the GV2. This corner is also a root area for the large tree whose canopy shades this area.
Saving this large tree was another reason for choosing GV2 for the parking bays. GV2 cross section is excellent for maintaining the site rainfall requirements for existing trees while being able to use the area for parking.
Overall view of parking lot, and back entrance to restaurant.
