Boise State University, Student Recreation Center
The designer for this project chose to eliminate the traffic on Vermont Street by closing it off and creating a pedestrian mall in front of the new Student Recreation Center. This also added more green space to the campus while maintaining emergency access by using Grasspave2.

Grasspave2 is used in a small strip next to the sidewalk from the right side of the photo to the left and continuing for a full block. Vermont Street has been closed off and made into a pedestrian plaza in front of this new facility.
This is a better view of the Grasspave2 strip next to the sidewalk that is used to maintain a fire lane when Vermont Street was closed for an entire block.

This is the opposite end of Vermont Street closure where Grasspave2 was used for lane widening.
