Project Profile:

The Palladio Apartments

Project Summary

The fire department can use the swimming pool for extra water in fighting fires. There is a cut curb for easy access. The rest of the curb is painted red, denoting fire lane. Surrounding the swimming pool with grass makes the area attractive and cool with non-reflective grass. Some discoloration of the grass near the entrance to the pool appears to be caused by chlorine spills, draining off the concrete pad surrounding the pool. This small area can be seen in photo #1. Any repair work done on the pool would leave no damage done to the grass by service vehicles.
